Essentially, the idea of being missional teaches that the church has a mission because Jesus had a mission. There is one mission that says that the “missional church is a community of God’s people that defines itself, and organizes its life around, its real purpose of being an agent of God’s mission to the world. In other words, the church’s true and authentic organizing principle is missions. When the church is in mission, it is the true church.”
We have partnered with Mission of Hope to offer churches, ministries, and organizations an opportunity to embrace or enhance their mission efforts.
HOW IT WORKS
There's no better way to catch the vision of MOH than to see firsthand how lives are being transformed. Attending a Vision Trip will allow you to see and interact with those we serve, local staff, and church leaders. Trips normally last three days—perfect for those with limited time. Geared towards leaders.
You can help share the love of Christ by serving on a Short-Term Trip with Mission of Hope. Every year, we host thousands of mission trip participants from around the world. You can serve on a Dominican Republic mission trip or Haiti mission trip.
You and your team will help meet the physical and spiritual needs of underserved communities in the country you choose. Each mission trip is unique and can be tailored to match the skills of your group with the needs of the community you are serving. Jonathan and Shena are available to meet with leaders and those they lead and walk them through the steps. Contact them here.
